THE PROJECT
Today, in Luhansk there are more than 4,000 people that work in the education field including Primary, secondary and high school teachers. Teachers who tried every angle and strategy to help children succeed, loving every one of them whilst doing so. And it is those same individuals who stay strong, remain positive and continue to pursue the job they were born to do - set an example and inspire. It is these altruistic people who are still at large having refused leave their hometown at the worst times.
For more than half a year, teachers in Lugansk did not receive salaries, but continued to go to school, love all day, talk all day, think all day, and interact all day. But with no money, this makes it impossible to live.
Most of them have to take care of their own children, the elderly and those who are growing sick . The bombing of the city claimed the lives of thousands of people, made even worse by shortages of electricity, heating, water, mobile networks, social benefits and a disaster in the banking system.

I am calling out to teachers FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD! My name is Elena Sankova, your colleague, both founder and director of the Children's Centre "Perspective" in Lugansk. I am a practicing teacher of the highest category, with two degrees and great pedagogical experience, I really do mean it when i say i need your help.
